The Pitch Rail
2024An instrument built for live performance that uses a distance sensor to calculate space between the main control box and a wall. Three buttons on the side allow the user to play the three notes of a major chord - the root, third, and fifth notes. As the user slides the control box up and down the rail, the selected note modulates up and down.

Custom visuals for the live performance display current note information on an abstract piano-like interface.
